I enjoy a good coffee vape, but I've yet to find one that compelled me to vape it regularly. Another problem with coffee is that it is one of those persistent flavors, tasking even the abilities of atty refresher to wash out. You really need a dedicated coffee atty.
To date the best coffee vape I've had is one I haven't reviewed due to a friendship I hold with the vendor. Despite not reviewing it on those grounds, I will say that Campfire Coffee from want2vape is my favorite coffee vape. It's rich, sweet, almost creamy, and the coffee body is just so genuine and true. It truly is sweet, strong coffee in a vape. Even so, I rarely go down to The Juice Cellar for that bottle.
Today's test subject is Timmy's Double Double from our friends up north, Juicy Clear. I have zero preconceptions regarding this juice, and the fact of the matter is that I have not sampled this specimen before today, so you get a rare first glimpse at my impressions on this one. I was not a fan of their RY4 variant, but their Canadian Full Flavor totally won me back, and I vaped that bottle dry faster than just about any review sample that has entered The Lab.
I will be vaping this 73PG/27VG 18mg specimen at 3.7v on my Bombshell with a 1.5 ohm Cisco atty.
The nose of this juice bodes well for this review. The coffee note is rich and full. Just the right body of roasty, toasty coffee bean. Deep and rich, but not overbearing or sharp.
The flavor on inhale is mellow, but has that same rich coffee element, just in a little more subdued presentation. It's saving the fireworks for exhale apparently, as many juices do. Throat hit is very good. Generally coffee vapes seem a little above average in the TH department as non-tobaccos go, and this one provides a satisfying vape.
The flavor on exhale delivers the full bodied presentation of the coffee you smelled when you fired this up. It's not as strong as my reference coffee vape, and it is less sweet as well. What you get here is a relatively straightforward un-enhanced picture of coffee with only a subtle addition of sweetener to smooth it out. This is not a vape that is like sticking your head under the espresso machine, nor is this like the dark tea that passes for coffee at most gas stations. The balance of flavor here is very good, and this is a very nice coffee vape, one of the best I've had. Vapor production is average for a PG blend.
Another solid vape from Juicy Clear. Coffee vapes aren't everyone's cup o' joe, but if you're a coffee lover you could do much worse than this. Recommended.
