Mister E Liquid has an interesting approach to tobacco. All of their tobacco vapes have contained a citrus element. Sometimes this has worked out better than at other times. I haven't been nuts about all of them, but I am a big fan of 1963, and I drained that bottle in record time. I need to get around to ordering a big bottle of that one.
Done right, a little citrus aids in a vape providing throat hit and satisfaction. Done wrong, and you're very aware of it in the vape. Mister E generally uses a light hand with the stuff, and the resulting vapes are fresh and interesting. The one I've been saving for last is lemon and menthol, a vape that should be dynamite if balanced properly. However, today we're concerned with English Meadow.
I have no idea what to expect from a juice named English Meadow, other than to think of relaxation, tranquility and refreshment. Let's just jump in and see what this juice is about.
I will be vaping today's 18mg 67PG/33VG test subject at 3.7v on my Silver Bullet with an SLB 1.7 ohm atty.
The nose of this slightly yellow-pink tinged, cloudy juice is really strange and really great. Perfume-y, dry, sweet, with traces of citrus.
The flavor on inhale is really hard to describe. A very good use of its elements that combine to make a new, cohesive whole. Nothing stands out. Throat hit is very good. Satisfying.
The flavor on exhale is where things fall apart a little. Now I can break down the contributors, and unfortunately one of them seems to be FlavourArt brandy flavoring, which I detest. It doesn't taste anything like brandy, it just tastes off. This won't be an issue for most of you, but I am very sensitive to this flavoring, and I can't stand it. There is a great citrus tang here, and if I ignore the FA brandy I really like the presentation of this juice. For me, that one element is a deal breaker. Your mileage may vary. Vapor production is average to slightly above average for a PG blend.
The one flavor element killed what would have otherwise been a good vape for me. I can't give this juice a bad review, because in every other respect it's very good, and most vapers won't mind the element that puts me off. Excluding the deal breaking flavor element that puts me off, this is a very nice, satisfying juice that displays a wonderful use of the citrus component to enhance this liquid's satisfaction. Slightly tangy, refreshing and satisfying. Don't let what I've said about this juice steer you away. Some of you may have the same aversion to that flavor note that I do, but most of you won't, and for you this is a very nice juice. No real sense of tobacco here, but a satisfying effort with fresh flavors. Recommended if you aren't averse to a little FA brandy in your vape.
