Nite Lite Vapor made a huge splash with their Bounty Hunter juice. It's one of those juices that got a lot of lip service on the forums and YouTube, and it's about as good a vanilla infused tobacco vape as I've dripped on an atty.
Nite Lite has incredible pricing, with 10ml bottles fetching a mere $3.50. I also like that we're practically next door neighbors. The Great State of Iowa is very proud of our own Nite Lite Vapor.
Today I have Nite Lite's Goldrush juice in The Lab. Nite Lite bills this as their most popular standard tobacco juice. From the picture I am expecting an analog replacement juice, so we'll see if that means something with analog-like performance, or just another juice with that DK Tab peanut butter flavor.
I will be vaping this golden 65PG/35VG juice at 3.7v on my Silver Bullet with both a 1.7 ohm SLB atty and a 2.5 ohm ce2-XL Clearomizer. Clearomizers are Mrs. Doctor Vapenstein's new preferred vape. She just loves these. I like them too, I just wish they hit a little harder and wicked faster. They don't wick fast enough for how I vape, but I do have to say that these things actually work if you fill them properly. A big improvement over the ceramic cartos in my opinion, and the 2ml capacity is a nice feature.
The nose of this juice smells like tobacco vape. There is a faint nut aroma, but it doesn't smack me in the forehead and say "DK Tab".
The flavor on inhale with a LR atty is strangely bereft of any nut, vanilla or other weirdness. This is a great juice for tricking your brain into thinking that you're smoking, and I bet this would be one of the very best recommendations you could make to a recent smoker. With a Clearomizer I get a very faint trace of nut, but again, this is almost kind of smoky even though there's no smoke here. It's not terribly flavorful, but here that works to great effect in crafting an illusion that you're smoking. Throat hit is great. This has excellent throat hit. My eyes really widened when I first vaped this. It has way better throat hit than the other Nite Lite juice I have on hand.
The flavor on exhale with a Clearomizer is very, very faintly nutty, but I'm looking for it. With a LR atty I get more of the nut, and it does share a genetic similarity to the DK Tab peanut, but it isn't overwhelming. The exhale does remind me of cigarette, much in the same way that Halo Torque 56 does. Nite Lite has done a great job creating an analog juice that doesn't have anything really weird going on in it. Vapor production is excellent owing to the slightly higher amount of VG than normal.
I am going to slow down a little on handing out It's Alive! Awards. It seems like there have been a lot of really good juices lately, and I don't want the award diminished by handing it out too frequently. One problem is that most juices have a wall. You vape them and fall in love, then a month later you don't care if you ever vape them again. Sorry Nite Lite, this probably would have got one a month ago. It's straddling the line for sure. Readers, don't let the lack of award lead you to think that this isn't top notch juice. It is. Award or not, I may like this better than Bounty Hunter, which did receive an It's Alive!.
This is a very worthy entry to the Analog Sweepstakes. Much like Vapor Station tobacco vapes, Nite Lite has crafted a first tier analog replacement juice using mystery nut as the backbone. The nut here is much less pronounced than most juices that have it. I gave their Bounty Hunter an It's Alive! and this one doesn't quite get there, but I will say that I will be more likely to vape Goldrush than Bounty Hunter after this test session. The performance of this juice is excellent. Great throat hit, satisfying inhale and exhale, and no weird flavor cues to screw the party up. Top that with great vapor production and Nite Lite has one of the better juices in this class in Goldrush. Exceptional and highly recommended.
