Joogler describes their JB3 as "Nutty Tobacco Blend". Where have I heard that before?
There is so much nut in our tobacco vapes. I wonder how this happened. Tobacco vape is synonymous with mystery nut with throat hit. It is so prevalent that I have heard back from a couple vapers that my London, which contains no mystery nut, tasted like burning tires to them. I think tobacco is very hard to get right in a vape. Probably only the top 5% of vendors are capable of pulling it off. So the rest resort to copying DK Tab or RY4 and as a result there are a whole lot of vapers out there who have developed a taste for sweet and/or peanut-y vapes.
The first batch of juices I got from Joogler didn't do much for me. I have been pretty impressed with this last batch though, and I am also impressed with the people behind Joogler for sending me a second batch after I wasn't terribly kind to the first batch. Kudos for not taking it personally. None of this is personal.
I would love to give every juice that comes into The Lab a great review. I know there are real people behind these juices. Unfortunately, Vapenstein doesn't amount to much as a vaping resource unless I attempt to be as honest and objective as I can. Some will already think that these opinions are tainted by the fact that I make my own juice. At the end of the day, I am a vaper just like you. Also, kind of like someone who cooks for a living, I don't vape much of my own juice. I don't know whether that is due to familiarity, having developed those flavors over time, or whether I simply prefer the cooking of others. I've also probably vaped more juice than just about anyone in vaping, and am creeping up on juice review #200. This is #193 if you're keeping tabs.
Let's get this 18mg 70%PG/30%VG blend into The Lab. I am vaping today at 3.7v on my Silver Bullet, and I have donned a fresh 1.7 ohm SLB atty for this experiment.
The nose of this juice has a nutty body with a faint whiff of something that is almost ammonia-like. Don't be put off, it's not overwhelming or gross. It's a molecule that exists in some of these vapes. Here I only just get it.
The flavor on inhale doesn't showcase that mystery nut. In fact, half the time I take a blast of this I don't notice it at all. This is one of those vapes that does a pretty darn good job of fooling you into thinking you're smoking when you take a blast. This kind of nondescript flavor presentation is very suited to letting your brain fill in the blanks, and it works well. This transitions straight into a very respectable throat hit. This is a satisfying juice.
The flavor on exhale is where I get a strong sense of a DK Tab-like nut. Actually here it isn't bad at all. There is something about the quality of flavor with this juice that is more delicate. I don't feel like I have a big mouthful of crunchy peanut butter gone bad. It's lighter. Still in the same family, but lighter and better. There is also a quality to the exhale here that is very reminiscent of smoking. Dry and something that isn't smoke but your brain associates with that flavor/sensation. Vapor production is average for a PG blend.
What we have here is another entry in the Mystery Nut With Throat Hit Sweepstakes. This is a good one though, with no off-putting notes, good performance, and a pretty high satisfaction level. This juice isn't going to make me give up my Vapor Station tobaccos, but it is way above average for this type of vape. Joogler continues their winning streak with yet another solid juice.
