Goodejuice came out of nowhere (for me) this winter and quickly established themselves as the producers of some of the best natural tobacco extracts in all of vaping. Really good stuff and one It's Alive! winner so far. I have more of their juice in The Cellar, so we'll be looking at more of their house extracted tobacco vapes.
Today's test subject is GJ4 Tobacco. It's their natural tobacco RY4 variant, and according to them we should expect vanilla but no caramel, which makes it a little different than the average RY4.
One thing I do know with Goodejuice is that will not be vaping DK Tab with vanilla today, so let's see how GJ4 Tobacco stacks up against the better RY4s in the business.
I will be vaping this 18mg 50/50 blend at 3.7v on my Silver Bullet with a 1.5 ohm Joye 306.
The nose of this juice has got a nice tobacco body with a smoky edge and a hint of sweetness.
The flavor on inhale is a smooth, mild tobacco with a creamy sweetness enveloping it. Not a big presentation of vanilla, yet, but it is a nice mild tobacco that is creamy and sweet. Throat hit is a little less than other Goodejuice natural tobaccos I've vaped. Not wimpy, but not as bold.
The flavor on exhale is more of the same with a decidedly vanilla aftertaste. I can sum this vape up with a comparison. This reminds me, more than any other vape, of a vanilla cavendish pipe tobacco. I am not an aromatic smoker, but I know that the aroma almost all of you associate with pipe tobacco is something aromatic. This is pretty Captain Black White-ish in presentation. Vapor production is thick and creamy, as you would expect from a 50/50 blend.
This is a well put together juice. Not my cup of tea, but this is probably Goodejuice's most accessible natural tobacco that I've vaped. In all honesty this one is probably pretty close to an It's Alive!, just because the presentation is so good and so consistent. This one tastes the same on inhale as it does on exhale and it doesn't seem to matter how long you vape it, it just keeps delivering what you expect from it. I really like this vendor. They've shown to me that they know how to make a decent tobacco extract and they've delivered at least a couple of juices that have impressed me. I would like to see them stray from the lines and get creative with a natural tobacco vape, but I can't fault what they're doing. This one is not an RY4 variant in my book, but it is a superlative example of a vanilla tobacco done right. Heartily recommended.
