In my search for the perfect cigar vape I was ultimately lucky enough to find want2vape, practically hidden out there on the web. More on that later, I don't want to spoil the surprise.
You know how I feel about tobacco. You know how I feel about tobacco juice. I do not want to vape some flavoring squirted into a PG blend. I wouldn't have established this site if that was enough for me.
I am drawn to vendors who make quality tobacco juice. If they make their own tobacco extracts, so much the better. This is an artisanal product. Don't let anyone tell you there is no such thing as premium juice. There is. You can taste the difference in every vape with the good stuff.
It was with growing pleasure that I dove into my recent order from want2vape. This order exceeded my expectations, and the only beef I have is that they need to offer more tobacco flavors, but that is coming.
Up for evaluation today is want2vape Red Pirate, a tobacco juice based on a smokeless tobacco that Donley makes the tobacco extract for.
I will be vaping this 24mg VG juice in my Bombshell at 3.7v.
You've heard me say "molasses thick" before. This juice is molasses dark.
The nose of this juice is deep, rich and slightly sweet. Up here in the Northern States we have a very limited selection of smokeless tobacco. Years ago when I briefly lived in the Ozarks that wasn't the case, and I became very fond of a loose leaf chewing tobacco called Union Workman. This smells like that. Sweet, spicy, very robust.
Throat hit is great for a VG juice, which is to say it's good on the whole. If you're more of a hands-on type, you might trying mixing this juice down to the 18mg ballpark by mixing it with some PG. I think it would be even better, but I'm not faulting the juice. It's very good just as it is.
This is a juice where I get almost all of the flavor on exhale. That isn't a bad thing in and of itself. The exhale follows so closely that unless you're paying attention you don't notice it. This leaves you time to notice the good throat hit for a VG juice. The flavor I do get on inhale is slightly sweet, but not sugary.
The flavor on exhale is the most surprisingly nice, deep tobacco finished with just the right amount of natural sweetness. There is not a single wrong note here. You would never think chewing tobacco unless you knew, because you'd never expect that in a vape juice. In a blind test I would cast my vote for a lighter pipe tobacco. Knowing that it's based on a loose leaf chew, it makes complete sense. It's very good, with a wonderful marriage between the tobacco and the tobacco's own natural sweetness. Really, it's the simplest thing. Cured tobacco, no frills. It's delicious, and if you've never chewed or even have an aversion to the thought of smokeless tobacco, put your reservations aside. This is a delightful vape. Vapor production is very good, but not as good as some all VG juice. I wonder about this juice and high voltage, but no time today.
I am extraordinarily happy about this juice. I came for the cigar and I got the greatest surprise in the bargain in a juice that I never would have gone looking for. Tobacco lovers, put this one on your wish list. It's very, very good. Heartily recommended. This is a vendor that I will be keeping a close eye on in the future.
